Disney Plus teases what’s to come in upcoming The Mandalorian episodes
The Disney Plus hit TV series The Mandalorian has revealed what the next three episodes will be about and when to stream them.
The Mandalorian has quickly become the latest buzz for its nostalgic Star Wars presence and great storytelling. But let’s be honest, Mando’s invaluable bounty known as “The Child” or “Baby Yoda” has stolen the show — so much so, that the Star Wars fandom is clamoring for merchandise and even more episodes featuring the cutest force-sensitive being we’ve ever seen.
Three episodes in, Mando has broken the code by reneging on his delivered bounty and rescuing The Kid. Mando rightfully feared what The Client would do to the innocent baby, especially since The Client has a squad of Stormtroopers in his service. That’s a clear flag that no matter who this “Client” is, he must have connections to the remnants of the Galactic Empire.
With that, Mando has become a foster parent in a self-appointed mission to protect the baby at all costs. What lies ahead of him is a mystery, though we all know chaos is sure to ensue. Fortunately, Disney Plus has revealed short recaps of the next three episodes with their release dates that will allow us to let our imaginations run wild.
"Episode 4 Release date: November 29, 2019The Mandalorian teams up with an ex-soldier to protect a village from raiders.Episode 5 Release date: December 6, 2019The Mandalorian helps a rookie bounty hunter who is in over his head.Episode 6 Release Date: December 13, 2019The Mandalorian joins a crew of mercenaries on a dangerous mission."
At the very least, these summaries establish that Mando will encounter three different challenges in the coming episode. As Collider points out, episode 4 will feature Gina Carano’s yet-to-be-announced character. Surely, Mando will have to figure out what he expects to do now that he’s chosen a path that will affect how he makes a living. However, it doesn’t clarify how Baby Yoda ties into what happens going forward. But I’m going to take a wild guess and say that Baby Yoda will be alongside Mando on his missions.
Clearly, Greef Carga and the Client are still alive, and they’re going to continue searching for the priceless bounty. Which guarantees that Mando will be intercepted at every turn by interested parties and bounty hunters. Maybe Mando should consider getting daycare services from a Rebellion affiliate so he can concentrate on his day job?
Mando will surely uncover during the course of this season where the dark forces have scurried to since Darth Vader’s demise and Darth Sidious’ absence. So, I wouldn’t put it past the series to tie Baby Yoda to a new scheme delivered by former supporters of the Galactic Empire. At long last, Mando will have to put away his code as a Mandalorian and take sides. If for nothing else, Mando will have to make the choice for Baby Yoda.
