Stranger Things gets renewed for season 4 with a very telling teaser
Netflix just gave the green light to the Duffer Brothers for Strangers Things 4, and we’ve got our first clue in the teaser.
If you can’t get enough of Demogorgons, Eleven, and Eggos, then you’re in for a real treat. The Duffer Brothers have signed a multi-overall deal with Netflix, and with that, announced Stranger Things season 4. That means that sometime soon our favorite folks from Hawkins, Indiana will be making a return to Netflix for our streaming pleasure.
Even though it might be a tad too early to guess what will take place in the next season of Stranger Things, the teaser that announced the good news has already left an impression and a clue. Accompanied by the iconic Stranger Things intro music, the Stranger Things 4 logo floats into the Upside Down background until the dead roots and leaves take over the logo in the teaser. The bright red logo dims and glitches until it becomes one with the Upside Down.
Just based on the first part of the teaser alone, it looks like the Upside Down will be playing a more prominent part in the series than before. But if you have any doubts, the final words of the teaser say, “We’re not in Hawkins anymore.” Hawkins has been the headquarters and base for the series since it started. If there is any truth to this, it’s looking like the troop will be headed on a new adventure elsewhere.

Taking into consideration Mr. Clarke’s scientific analysis of what would happen if the door between dimensions was to be opened, we just may get the entire town spilling into the Upside Down. But even if that doesn’t happen, there’s another reason why Stranger Things 4 may be a bit separated from Hawkins. At the end of season 3, the Byers family moved, and they will be living in a new town far away from Hawkins.
Maybe they’ll find a new door into the Upside Down and the rest of Hawkins will meet them there? After all, the Russians found a way to get through. That being said, the whole season could be in the Upside Down, especially if it becomes a way to get Hopper back. Finding out about the new season is just half the battle. Now we wait for the official date it airs.
