Nikolaj Coster-Waldau probably never imagined himself as Jamie Lannister, an incestuous kingslayer on Game of Thrones, when he first became an actor.

We can assume this much is true based on his previous movies and television shows that feature characters that are brave, charming, and maybe even a little bad. All of which must have been good practice for the incredible journey we’ve all witnessed Jaime go through — right until the very end.
