The Jungle Book

In Rudyard’s Kipling’s live-action film of The Jungle Book, we see an early adaptation of the story of Mowgli. Mowgli is lost in the jungle after a tiger attack that kills his father and is raised in the jungle by wolves. Headey plays Kitty, Mowgli’s childhood friend who reunites with Mowgli after years of separation and tries to bring him back to civilization. Despite already having a boyfriend, Kitty falls in love with Mowgli. Mowgli also has evidence of having found a hidden city filled with riches and so the jealous boyfriend kidnaps Mowgli to force him to serve as a guide to the city of riches.
