Based on the novel of the same name, the film adaptation is a horror-infused parody of Jane Austen’s classic. While Austen’s version followed the complicated nature of courting and marriage in the 19th century, this version takes place in an England that has been ravaged by zombies shortly after the black plague has killed everyone off. Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy must figure out their differences while also staying alive and zombie slaying. Headey plays Mr. Darcy’s aunt, the condescending Lady Catherine, who’s wit is as equally sharp as her ability to wipe out zombies. The bonus here is that Headey gets to play alongside Charles Dance, her future father on Game of Thrones.
