4 Christmas romance books to add to your July TBR
If you want a book to put your Santa’s naughty list, then look no further than these two.
Sometimes for Christmas, you’re not looking for something so sweet and fun. Rather, you’re looking for something a little bit more adult. There’s nothing wrong with that and plenty of authors have books that will fulfill that need. Obviously, if you’re into adult content especially swearing and sexual situations, then you might want to skip to the next slide.
However, if you’re looking for something a little bit taboo and a little out-of-the-box for Christmas in July, then have no fear. One book you should add to your TBR is “Gifting Me To His Best Friend” by Katee Robert. If you’re wondering if the title is literal, the answer is a resounding yes and this book is especially great if you read and loved Katee Robert’s newest release, “Neon Gods.”

Featuring husband, Grayson, and wife, Emma, the two are spending their Christmas vacation with Grayson’s best friend, Derek. Things heat up as it’s clear all three of them are attracted to each other and then Grayson decides to “gift” Emma to his best friend, Derek. It’s a relatively short read but is incredibly steamy, features some fun Christmas moments and a happy ending. It might give you a heatstroke in July but could be the perfect thing to warm you up in December.
The other book guaranteed to ensure you’re on the naughty list is “The Naughty List” by Ellie Mae MacGregor. Once again, this is another slightly taboo romance as this one features a single mom hooking up with Santa Claus. Yes, that Santa Claus but a more muscular and much younger version of him. Definitely not in everyone’s comfort zone, but if you can look past it, more power to you.
“The Naughty List” is a lot tamer than “Gifting Me To His Best Friend” but both are short and steamy Christmas romance reads. While they might not be as traditional as other Christmas romance books, they’re a lot of fun. It’s probably not how much of us will be spending Christmas, but it’s a fun fantasy to fall into for an hour or so.
