These last two romance books are sweet enough to pair with Christmas cookies.

If you’re less about the steam and more about the sweetness of a Christmas romance, then these two should be perfect for you. What they lack in steam, they make up for in adorable and loving moments between our two main characters. While there were a few books that could’ve made the cut, these two just edged out the competition and helped fill out the list.

First up is “Wrapped Up in You” by Talia Hibbert which is a Kobo exclusive release. Released in November 2020, this book features a unique premise as this is a romance between two childhood friends. However, Will is a Hollywood darling while Abbie is his best friend’s divorced sister and the two are spending Christmas together with her family.

This one is novella-length, but it packs an incredible punch as it focuses on the two characters really seeing each other like that for the first time and unpacking some of their own traumas. For Abbie, she’s learning to love again while Will is trying to sort out his feelings for Abbie without scaring her away. It’s such a sweet romance featuring a meddling grandmother, a cat, and a lack of steamy scenes if that’s not what you’re here for.

The final book you should add to your TBR is “Mangos and Mistletoe” by Adriana Herrera which is an f/f romance set during Christmas. However, the catch is that the two women are paired together for a baking competition show. While they don’t seem to hit it off at first, the two eventually form a connection, and then, romance blossoms from that point.

This book is one where you’ll need to have cookies or at least, a snack beside you. Watching them bake together will have you salivating. This book also features the “Only One Bed” trope which is beloved in the romance community. While one does have some steamy scenes, they can definitely be skipped over if you don’t enjoy that type of content. However, it’s another sweet and fun holiday read to add to your TBR.
