Clarke is taking control during this week’s episode of The 100, but her plan to make peace may come with a cost.

At the end of “Acceptable Losses,” second season Clarke Griffin made a spectacular return to The 100. With another war approaching and Madi’s safety at stake, she decides to go over Octavia’s head to make peace with Diyoza. She tells the others that they’re going to “take her out.”

The promo for “How We Get To Peace” suggests that Clarke’s following through on her words, though she doesn’t look happy about it. This could be because Octavia catches her in her schemes. It could also stem from guilt, as she and Octavia were once close friends.

Diyoza and Kane also appear to be working toward a better life. During the preview for this week’s episode, they discuss a place for their leaders to go over ideas with one another. It’s a step away from the tyranny of Eligius and Wonkru, and it could do the two groups well.

Kane also seems to be trying to persuade Diyoza that a war isn’t necessary. We know how badly he desires peace, but it’s questionable as to whether his vision of harmony extends to Octavia and the Wonkru leaders. We hope it does.

Either way, life-changing decisions will be made on The 100 tonight. The real question is this: What will stand in the way of peace this time? Because something always does.
