Annalise believes Frank did all of this on purpose, and that he also shot Mahoney. Less than four minutes into this new season, Wes is in tears.
While he and Annalise go off into the woods to scream out their feelings and stress, we get Frank doing his best The Fugitive impersonation. Unlike Harrison Ford, he just gives himself a buzz cut and shaves off his facial hair. Moment of silence for Frank’s facial hair.

We learn Wes has a girlfriend, because he went up to a cabin with her. In class, Asher has already picked out everyone’s seats for them. Meanwhile, Annalise informs them that they are part of the new law clinic she’s set up…and behind her is a photo of her labeled “Killer.”
Post-Title-Card, because all of the above happens before the title card.
Annalise informs the new students that this is a pro bono law clinic. Mr. Drake looks to be the smarmy new student to get put up against the Keating 5.
She also drops the episode title when talking to the Keating 5, telling them that “We’re good people now.” Place your bets on how long that’ll last.
Meanwhile, she goes home and sends a text message reading, “Anything?” The recipient says he or she has a reliable lead and to keep the low-tech cellphone close.
May
Laurel visits Annalise to tell her she’ll be in Mexico for the summer. Also, Frank is dead to her.
September
She calls Frank to inform him she hates him, which is very healthy. That done, she visits the case of the week: an Iraqi immigrant, Karim, who now faces deportation after marijuana charges. In class, students throw out ideas about how to keep him here in the States. Laurel reveals that the pot wasn’t Karim’s, but rather his daughter’s. However, Wes wins first chair on the case by proposing character witnesses, and Drake second chair.
We also learn the photos of Annalise have been plastered all over billboards on campus. She once again comments that it’s at least a good photo.

June
Annalise visits a sunbathing Connor. He tells her he is trying to disconnect. However, he asks her not to give Oliver a job, though he thinks Oliver’s about to ask for one.
September
Indeed, Oliver gives her a proposal in her law office. He tells her he deleted Connor’s Stanford acceptance and that he gets that not everything is particularly clean around the Keating Law Offices. He then returns to a mojito party, Keating 5 style, and casually lies about where he was. We know this is in September because Wes leaves saying he needs to work on Karim’s case.
We cut to Nate and Annalise discussing the new harassment on campus while giving each other sexy massages. She eyes the box where she keeps her informant’s cellphone dramatically.
July
Asher pays a visit to Annalise asking for money because his mother won’t pay his tuition. “My white ass is only in this position because of you,” he says, telling her that his father’s dead because of her.
He does not get his loan.
September
Asher happens to be an RA, because he gets free housing that way. Michaela does not approve of that and walks out before Asher can get laid with his free condoms.
In court, Annalise tells Wes to enjoy what he can of his case. Michaela breaks in dramatically to reveal that Karim’s public defender didn’t tell him that pleading guilty to the original case could risk deportation. While Wes and Michaela stall and Bonnie takes over, Annalise and Connor go to the PD’s office and start cutting deals.
Annalise walks in dramatically just as Karim’s daughter is about to testify with the new deal she’s gotten. She then tells Connor she’s hiring Oliver, he deleted the Stanford acceptance, and that she’ll bury him in busy work. Never mind that silly promise in June, Connor.

August
Michaela summons Annalise after a drunk driving incident. Annalise tells her to get in the car, and Michaela declares she is not normal and that she can’t go back anymore. Annalise alludes to her bad family, which may end up being a mystery this season, and says that that’s why she doesn’t worry about her.
September
Karim apologizes for pleading guilty to a crime he didn’t commit. The judge rules that he’ll be deported despite the prior felony being vacated. Therefore, Wes loses.
Connor tells Oliver he knows about Stanford. Instead of blowing up, Connor apologizes for being selfish and not listening. Oliver informs his boyfriend that he should be angry and that this relationship is not healthy.
He tells Connor he loves him. And then he says they should break up because he needs to find himself. Love is dead, everyone.
August
The new president of Middleton meets with Annalise. She tells her that there will be no more teaching “How to Get Away with Murder,” the class, because the Keating 5 do not do so well in school. Annalise proposes the pro bono clinic.
September
Bonnie comes in to Annalise’s office with a school news report about the photos. Though she proposes Frank has been putting the photos up, Annalise says she doesn’t think that’s the case.
Laurel visits Wes. He tells her Meggie (new girlfriend) is really nice. This turns into an argument, and he tells her he sees Frank when he looks at her. She says she should go. Meggie walks in, and this gets very awkward, very fast.
Annalise pulls out her secret phone and sees she has to call her informant. It looks to be a PI who has been tracking Frank. He asks what she wants to do. However, Frank catches the PI and starts strangling him. She hangs up.

We return to the opening shot of the crime scene person rolling the gurney into the wagon. Annalise pushes through the police line and sees whose body is on the gurney.
