Sex and the City fans waiting anxiously for news on the upcoming TV series, And Just Like That will be happy to know that while Samantha won’t return, most of the cast will. The new series has brought back everyone from Mr. Big to Stanford Blatch. And that includes the young SATC offspring that we saw born during the original series.

In the final seasons of Sex and the City Charlotte and Miranda started families, and their kids were little tykes when the series ended. Many will remember everything that Charlotte went through in the name of having a baby to finally be blessed with little Lily, who was adopted from overseas. Miraculously, Charlotte later defies the scientific odds and gives birth to Rose, completing her family. And while Miranda wasn’t the maternal type, she and Steve did a great job of bringing up their son Brady.

The Goldenblatt and Hobbes kids will appear in the Sex and the City sequel

The 10 episode TV sequel will fast-track to the ladies living New York City life in their 50s and navigating happiness, dating, and raising children. Since the kids will be much older now, they will likely play a significant part in the series. According to Variety, Cathy Ang will play Lily Goldenblatt, Alexa Swinton will play Rose Goldenblatt, and Niall Cunningham will appear as Brady Hobbes.

It will be fun to see how the moms will deal with Lily and Brady in their teenage years. Cree Cicchino will play Brady Hobbes’ girlfriend, Luisa Torres. So maybe we will get to see Miranda and Steve give Brady the “talk.” I know I’m eager to see how an easily flustered Charlotte will deal with Lily liking boys and dating. Honestly, there are some gems that they can work with if they do this right. The content can work in their favor to be comedic while also offering them the opportunity to discuss serious topics.

Additionally, the sequel will feature some new characters: Sara Ramírez, plays a non-binary podcast host and comedian; Sarita Choudhury plays a real estate broker; Nicole Ari Parker, will appear as a Park Avenue Mom and documentarian; and Karen Pittman as a professor at Columbia Law. Hopefully, the new cast members will make way for a diverse culture in this new era of Sex in the City.

The show is currently filming all over New York City.
