Netflix finally gives us a clue about when The Haunting of Bly Manor will arrive
Netflix has released a poster for The Haunting of Bly Manor, which teases when the new Haunting series might arrive.
If there is one thing Netflix is really good at (besides letting us stream a wide array of programming), it would be making us wait. And after the surprise success of The Haunting of Hill House, a limited horror series that was not expected to go beyond one season (and still isn’t to be honest), it is no surprise that the streamer decided to move forward with another Haunting season.
However, just because they are giving us a new Haunting series to sink our teeth into, that doesn’t mean they are rushing to give us all the details we want — such as when we are going to get a chance to stream The Haunting of Bly Manor. Sure, we know who is in the cast and have a general idea of the story, since it is based off of a pretty famous book, but we need to know when we get to watch it all unfold.
And it turns out that, even without a date, Netflix is giving us something to look forward to this fall.
Netflix Drops a New Poster for The Haunting of Bly Manor on Twitter
In the most epic tweet yet, Netflix and The Haunting of Bly Manor dropped a poster revealing that the new season of horror and chills will be streaming this fall. But that’s not all the tweet revealed.
The tweet on the show’s official Twitter account reads, “The Haunting of Bly Manor arrives this fall. Until then… look beneath the surface.”
And if you actually look below the surface of the water in the poster, you can see our first real tease of what’s to come. After all, within the choppy wave left behind by the haunting spectre standing in the water, we can see the faces of other characters. And I don’t know about you, but those do not look like happy faces at all.
As an added bonus, The Haunting of Bly Manor account responded to some of the first tweeters to comment on their post with some very cryptic messages that add to the mystery of the story.
Honestly, I can’t wait for Netflix to give us a set date for when the series is set to begin streaming. And with this poster, it definitely seems like we are in for another spooky story with characters who are just as tortured as the house they live in.
