The Haunting of Bly Manor has officially finished filming, and we are ready to be spooked

It’s official! The Haunting of Bly Manor has officially finished filming according to a Tweet posted by Mike Flanagan, the man behind the series.

If you are anything like me, then you have been waiting eagerly for any news about when the follow-up to Netflix’s Haunting of Hill House would be released. And while we may not have a release date for Haunting of Bly Manor just yet, we do have some exciting news anyway.

In a Tweet posted by Mike Flanagan on Feb. 21, he announced that filming on the series has officially wrapped. He then went on to congratulate everyone who has worked on Bly Manor from the cast to the crew.

Among the responses to the Tweet was one from Netflix, which said, “can’t WAIT for the world to feast their eyes on the magic you’ve been making, mike!” And, of course, there were plenty of other excited responses from followers eager to see what Flanagan has in store for us next.

Considering how popular The Haunting of Hill House was when it was released, we can’t wait to see what the filmmaker was able to create with Bly Manor. With the second chapter in the Haunting stories based on another popular story, this time The Turn of the Screw by Henry James, it should be interesting to see which aspects of the original tale the series sticks with, and which they take creative license with.

At this point, we don’t know much about The Haunting of Bly Manor beyond some of the cast and the story it will be based on. But knowing that filming has wrapped means that we can expect things to begin coming our way. Or at least we hope we start seeing more details from Netflix soon.

We can’t wait for the first trailer to arrive to give us a sneak peek at the haunting to come.
