Kit Harrington is unmistakably a hero on Game of Thrones, but it isn’t the only role that he has played where the fate of the world is in his hands.

While it’s up for debate as to who will save Westeros in the final chapters of Game of Thrones, Jon Snow is undoubtedly one of the brave ones that are willing to sacrifice for the sake of others. So much so, that fans have long thought Jon Snow to be the chosen one.

And while we’ll have to wait for the final season to end to find out if Jon Snow is the prophecized savior, his hero evolution is still essential no matter who gets all the shine for saving Westeros. Without a doubt, we could have never made it this far without all of Jon Snow’s sacrifices.

For those that may not be familiar with Kit Harrington’s filmography, he has had a chance to play the fearless savior as well as a leading man in other roles that aren’t Jon Snow. Although, it does seem that saving the day is a role that fits him quite well.

Harrington has ventured into comedy and different genres that don’t require him to be the smoldering leading man. As the last chapter of Game of Thrones comes to a close, it will be the last time we see Jon Snow fighting for humanity.
