What happens when a renowned fashion magazine is hit by cyber hackers? More than just the season’s hottest looks are at risk in The Bold Type.

Scarlet has been hacked.

That’s bad news for any major media company, but on this week’s The Bold Type, it could mean more than just a huge financial hit.

Now that Jane and Jaqueline are actively pursuing and investigating the rumors surrounding Pamela Dolan, anyone that speaks to them essentially has a target on their back. Without being able to guarantee anonymity, the piece could get killed before even getting off the ground.

But there’s more than just cyber worries happening this week. Here’s the full episode synopsis from Freeform:

"Scarlet falls prey to a data hack, halting production of the dotcom and magazine and Jane and Jacqueline fear their investigation could be compromised as a result. Pressures escalate when Sutton and Richard host a dinner party. Meanwhile, Kat opens up to Tia as they begin her campaign."

It is nice to see Sutton and Richard adorably adjusting to domestic life. But the last time Richard hosted a dinner party with Sutton, she ended up hiding in the gigantic bathtub with Kat and Jane, while stoned.

In fairness, that was a fun time, so no one could be too upset if that happened again. Well, except maybe Richard.

Then there’s Tia and Kat. Since Adena, Kat hasn’t been with anyone. While #Kadena shippers are still maintaining hope – especially knowing that Adena does come back at some point this season – this could be a turning point for Kat.

That is, if Tia is into it. We still don’t really know her status.
