Lena Headey has so many good films to choose from, that you won’t have to rewatch Game of Thrones to death just to get your fix.
Despite having hit stardom earlier in her career, Lena Headey is now best known for her role as Cersei Lannister on Game of Thrones. As the hit HBO series inches towards the end, getting used to not finding new ways to hate Cersei every week is going to be hard for the fandom.
Out of all the characters on Game of Thrones, Headey is hard to forget as the fiercely stubborn, attractive and eager to rise to power queen of Westeros. Unlike other mediocre villains, Cersei’s complicated nature combines a woman that loves her children profoundly and yet sees nothing wrong with viciously tormenting her enemies.
Unsurprisingly, it isn’t the first first time that Cersei has portrayed women of power and conflicted natures. Whether it was becoming Sarah Connor in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles or Queen Gorgo in 300, she’s always assumed roles that in hindsight have prepared her to become Cersei.
Whether you would like to see the badass side of Headey or are looking to see her in something new and unfamiliar, Headey’s career is rich with roles that will leave you wanting more.
