Shake Shack has taken its Game of Thrones menu and made it available to fans nationwide. Do you have what it takes to order it in Valayrian?
To celebrate that winter is finally here and that Game of Thrones has returned for its final season, Shake Shack revealed a Game of Thrones menu at its Madison Square Park restaurant in New York City last week. While this may have caused the fandom outside of New York City to experience serious FOMO, there’s great news. Shake Shack has decided to extend the Game of Thrones menu across the U.S.
There’s only one catch. You have to order your food in Valyrian. Valyrian is the language of the ancient city of Valyria that was destroyed by a volcanic eruption hundreds of years before Daenerys Targaryen’s time. Now, you won’t have to start studying ancient fictional languages because Shake Shack offers a handy translation guide at its locations with detailed pronunciation breakdowns for all your Valyrian ordering needs.
The menu features the Dracarys Burger, a double cheeseburger with Monterey jack cheese, bacon, and a fiery version of Shake Shack’s signature sauce. It is available through April 21, according to Hello Giggles. Fans of the show will recognize “Dracarys” as the phrase Daenerys Targaryen uses when she wants her dragons to roast someone. “Dracarys” is the Valyrian word for “dragon fire” and is, therefore, the most appropriate name for the spicy burger.

The ultimate Game of Thrones combo can be yours by adding on a Dragonglass Shake, available through May 19. The mint and white chocolate custard are sprinkled with shards of toffee that are supposed to represent Dragonglass. Dragonglass is a type of obsidian, or volcanic glass, that has been proven to kill White Walkers if fashioned into a weapon.
Like the final season of Game of Thrones, this menu will only be around for a limited time. The burger will be available at select locations in the U.S., while the shake will be available nationwide. To see if the Dracarys Burger is coming to a location near you, you can see the list of restaurants on Shake Shack’s website.
Being able to order a meal fit for kings in Valyrian should be a real treat. Let’s just be happy that they didn’t ask for customers to bend the knee.
Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
