Falcon and Winter Soldier series

The first bullet point on our fan theory wishlist is that the Falcon and Winter Soldier series will be a light-hearted, crime-fighting comedy series. Our favorite heroes have been through enough, from turning to dust and whatever will happen in Avengers: Endgame. After all, we can assume the Avengers will ultimately beat Thanos, but the bloodshed isn’t over yet.

Described as a “spy thriller,” some comedic interjections and side plots would break up the plethora of plot twists and drama. Regardless of the main plots and reported side characters, such as Agent 13 (i.e. Sharon Carter), we hope the series will build on Bucky and Sam’s friendship. While we aren’t sure it Steve Rogers will permanently or temporarily die in the upcoming Avengers film, we do know that Sam and Bucky particularly bond in the Captain America comics after Steve was shot and killed before post-Civil War trial.

However, their comic book incarnations were close friends even when they weren’t fighting crime, which makes their TV team-up series so critical. After all, who wouldn’t want to see the two heroes bond with one another? Granted, we might just be saying that because we really want to see Sam make snide comments about Bucky’s fear of heights. (Yup, chalk that up to our obscure and useless comic trivia.)
