15 essential Avengers: Endgame theories to know before the premiere

Shuri is missing, not decimated

We know: Shuri is listed as missing according to the first Avengers: Endgame trailer, but we still don’t think Angela Bassett would lie to us about Shuri surviving the snap (or anything for that matter). We trust her with our lives and our fave’s fate. We’re not sorry for perpetually screaming into the void about this theory.

If you think the Avengers will be able to defeat the corrupt Titan with the Infinity Gauntlet without the smartest person in the entire MCU (i.e., Shuri), think again. Tony and Bruce are both well-versed with villain-fighting technology, but given Ultron and their overall lack of experience compared to Shuri’s invention repertoire, we rightfully trust Shuri to craft any weapon or plan worthy enough to fight Thanos.

Since she’s currently missing in action, we have a feeling she regrouped with all the surviving members of Wakanda to create a plan to avenge and save T’Challa and the fallen people of Wakanda. Given her determination, intellect, and invention prowess, she’s probably on a spiriting mission to creating an even more powerful version of the Black Panther suit or reviving the currently extinct heart-shaped herb that gives a person the power of the Black Panther.
