Titans 100-Page Giant

From the impending The Judas Contract narrative on Young Justice: Outsiders to DC Universe’s Titans, pop culture is saturated with the Teen Titans, and as fans, we’re thriving.

While there are a ton of Teen Titans members to expand on, the Teen Titans Giant comic focuses on the team’s rivalry with some notorious antagonists, including the Fearsome Five, the H.I.V.E., and Deathstroke the Terminator (who has an extended, and complicated, history with the team).

With various arcs to focus on, the Giant comic includes Super Sons issues, Sideways narratives, and Teen Titans chapters that showcase the team’s familial bonds.

Since the Teen Titans have always been a team centered around a found family, Teen Titans Giant is no different. Including family-centric stories, the comic run reminds us why the Titans work so well together and why we resonant with their team.

Some of the issues introduce some of our favorite Titans, like Damian Wayne and Jon Kent in Super Sons #1 (2017), which is in Teen Titans Giant #1. However, the expanded comic run also houses Walmart exclusive stories.

A six-part narrative introduces a new Teen Titans villain in the first issue alone. Granted, that’s the least of the Teen Titans’ worries because their new archnemesis isn’t alone in their quest to destroy the team of heroes. Can the Teen Titans just enjoy their family pizza feast in peace?

Although your local Walmart probably still has some Teen Titans Giant comics, you won’t see any new issues anytime soon because the Teen Titans title is being phased out of circulation. Don’t worry though: A Walmart exclusive Titans Giant comic, which debuts this month, will fill your Titans-related void.
