18 Marvel character team-ups we’d love to see in the MCU

Tony Stark and Victor von Doom

Victor von Doom (Doctor Doom) can be a notorious villain, but he isn’t always a villain. Like the billionaire, playboy philanthropist, who hides behind a sarcastic facade to cloak his selflessness and anxieties, Victor has layers to his character development.

Even a hypothetical Tony and Victor team-up relies on Tony’s survival. While NASA still hasn’t embarked on any rescue missions and he’s run out of snacks weeks ago, we’re just going to ignore Tony’s bleak situation and the very real possibility that he might not survive Avengers: Endgame. (Though, as we type this, we’re already prematurely mourning the end of an era because Tony Stark started the MCU.)

Regardless, both Tony and Victor have taken on the Iron Man suit and persona. Like we said before, Victor is a multifaceted character. And he even embarked on his heroic arc in Invincible Iron Man, which even made Tony and Victor friends to an extent.

Frankly, we’d love to see Tony and Victor protect Earth in their iron-clad suits on screen at least once… before Victor returns to a more villainous arc, of course.
