4. The Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes

In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, we meet (duh) the Winter Soldier, who just so happens to be Captain America’s long-lost friend, Bucky Barnes, played by Sebastian Stan. Having already met Bucky in Captain America: The First Avenger, we knew he was as a good guy, but this time around we get to see his villainous side. (And we admit that we were totally here for that bad boy.)

The thing about the Winter Soldier that makes him date worthy is the fact that he genuinely has good in him (and yes, he eventually comes back from the dark side). Plus, the fact that he really is easily redeemable certainly helps his cause. But that’s not all that makes him completely dateable in our book. He actually has a protective side, too.

Besides that, he is relentless when it comes to his goals, and he has a past that includes loss and heartbreak. All of this is what makes him the kind of bad boy we have no problem swiping right on, because who doesn’t want the flawed bad boy with a heart of gold?

Whether he is the Winter Soldier or Bucky Barnes, this is a man with a past, but also the ability to push past his own villainy. We can’t imagine not wanting to sit down and hear all about Bucky. And when it comes to someone he is dating, we believe he would be just as protective as he is with his friends (even if we are ignoring the fact he did try to kill Cap that one time).
