The Walking Dead season 9 episode 7 live stream: Watch online

Rosita and Eugene try to escape the Whisperers while Carol catches up with Daryl who has been living out in the wild since Rick vanished.

Carol and Ezekiel may be officially married, but there’s no doubt in my mind that Daryl still holds a very important place in Carol’s life. Daryl may have decided to leave the world and make the wilderness his home, but his place in the hearts of those that have been through so much of the walker apocalypse with him remains the same.

Last week’s episode shows Carol bumping into Daryl while on a wagon ride with Henry. I had goosebumps over this encounter knowing that Carol was not going to let Daryl slink right back into the woods to disappear. And tonight’s episode looks to go further into Carol and Daryl catching up amongst other trouble brewing with the other groups.

AMC’s official synopsis for tonight’s episode “Stradivarius”:

"Carol seeks out an old friend living alone in a wilderness teeming with walkers; survivors make the perilous trek to a new home."

Daryl who has never been a social butterfly and is a bit stubborn will surely behave like a disgruntled teenager when Carol comes asking questions. I don’t know if this will lead to Carol extending an invitation to Daryl to return to the Kingdom or one of the other communities, but I’m hoping that there something put in place for him to consider joining the rest the world.

A sneak peek of tonight’s episode shows Carol following Daryl all the way to his camp that is lined with animal skins and outdoorsy survival gadgets. But Carol notices that Daryl hasn’t fixed his boat made of tree logs since the last time she saw, and that may mean he’s struggling with food since the boat is used to go fishing. If Daryl doesn’t come back, Carol will be back at the very least to drop off food, for sure.

As for Rosita, who is out there in the woods somewhere braving the woods to get away from the talking walkers, she will have to find help because Eugene hurt his knee and can’t out walk the walkers. It looks like Michonne will be headed toward Hilltop and Carol is in Daryl’s wooded domain, so her best bet is to find one of the groups before The Whisperers get them.
