Avengers 4 toy packaging may have just revealed Thor and Rocket’s new suits

An image from an action figure package reveals new outfits for Rocket and Thor that are very different from what we’ve seen in the past.

Leaked artwork that appears to be from a Thor and Rocket Racoon action figure from Avengers 4 gives away a new look for the two characters.

The images, which were shared on online, show Rocket and the God of Thunder wearing matching suits (you can see it here on Reddit). These suits are black and gray with red highlights and appear more like space suits than the other outfits the two have worn in the past. On the left chest of the suits is the A for “Avengers,” which could show that Rocket will be an official Avenger in Avengers 4.

While the image is small, you can also see that Captain America is wearing a similar outfit in a thumbnail image on the lower right part of the toy packaging. Captain Marvel, however, is still wearing her iconic red, blue, and yellow suit. These matching outfits are somewhat strange as we’ve already seen leaked art that reveals character like Captain America and Thor in their familiar suits. So, this look could be for a specific mission of some kind.

We hope these suits aren’t their main outfits for the movie, as they do look a little odd. Maybe matching team outfits is good for creating a cohesive look, but it doesn’t really match the vein of many of these characters. It would be weird to not have characters like Thor and Cap in their more traditional suits.

In the picture, we also see Stormbreaker, the new hammer that Thor made during Avengers: Infinity War. Fans have pointed out that the design of the hammer’s blade has been through some changes. It’s unclear if they are cosmetic or for a bigger purpose. Of course, those changes could also just be a marketing choice and not reflect what the hammer will look like in the actual film.

On MCU Cosmic, Jeremy Conrad points out that these outfits look similar to Hank Pym’s Quantum Realm-traveling suit. So it’s possibly a tip-off that Scott Lang won’t be the only one to participate in Quantum Realm travel in Avengers 4. And it would further confirm the theory that the Quantum Realm will be hugely important to the Avengers in getting their friends back and defeating Thanos.

Other leaked pictures of new suits include Captain America’s scale armor that has fans reminiscent of his original comic book look. There has also been a blurry image of Hawkeye’s new look, supposedly for when he takes on the new alert ego, Ronin.

All of these images have been leaked and none of them have been officially confirmed by the Russos or anyone else at Marvel with the power to do so. We kind of hope that the suits on this toy packaging aren’t real because they aren’t the best looks we’ve seen.
