Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers: Horses are on the way

Although things continue apace in Belfast, it seems as though things are active again over at another Game of Thrones season 8 location.

Warning: Not sure you need to know every single thing about Game of Thrones season 8 production? After all, we’re about to talk Game of Thrones season 8 production.

At this point, Game of Thrones season 8 seems like it’s always been filming, and it will always be filming. We know, of course, that it’s not true; Kit Harington has even spoken about what he plans to do as soon as he’s finished all his filming work.

But with fan account GoTlike Locations spotting more trucks moving into Magheramorne Quarry — this time with some mysterious vehicles — it looks like we’re about ready for some more real filming. Earlier this month, we saw that tents were going up and so on. This is just the next step.

Here’s what GoTlike has when it comes to the latest:

We do have to agree about the carriage; it looks a little more like something from Poldark, but it could easily be remade into a transport wagon of sorts. Conveyances in the world of Game of Thrones seem to be more closed if they’re meant for people of high birth — although we’ve seen open wagons, too, like the one Sam and Gilly use for travel.

This is also a pretty reasonable conclusion, although it doesn’t help us conclude what Magheramorne might be standing in for. The accepted knowledge is that previous work there was part of a fight set at Winterfell, and we can’t be sure if the battle will go on into the night to match up with previous shooting.

Admittedly, all of the horse trailers at least suggests Dothraki presence; there have been theories that the Unsullied are at Winterfell, so that’s not much of a stretch.

Of course, there are a lot of green screens available there, so it could turn into anything, which is honestly kind of exciting.
