You know, with a setting like New Orleans, it was only a matter of time for Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger to bring in a little voodoo.
Who knew it would be in its third episode?!
Here is the official synopsis, in case you missed it:
"Tandy is on the run as Detective O’Reilly closes in on her, but the detective may not be after her for the reasons Tandy thinks. Tyrone is desperate for answers and turns to Evita and her Auntie Clarisse, a Voodoo priestess, for help."
We’ll see how much of an impact the voodoo actually has on the show itself. Perhaps it will bring Tyrone and Tandy closer together? They’re bound to start actually interacting more than a few scenes at some point, right? It has to happen at some point.
Additionally, I really want to know if this Detective O’Reilly catches Tandy before she meets up with Tyrone. If she doesn’t, it might be bad news for her and her case. Combining Tandy and Tyrone means business… even if they don’t know it yet. (Seriously, they need to work together more, please.)
If she does, though, do you think Tyrone will wake up wherever Tandy is to help her escape?
