Meghan, Duchess of Sussex: The Reception Dress

Get the Look: Defining Divine Midi Dress in White

It all begins and ends with Meghan Markle. The Duchess and Duke of Sussex are officially hitched, and there’s even a coat of arms to prove it. This royal wedding brought us so many highs: two surprise dresses, Meghan walking herself down the aisle after being escorted by her mother, Harry’s romantic gestures and the couple being the first to kiss on the steps of St. George’s Cathedral, and clearly an exhilarating search for all the looks on the cheap. We’re left wondering what to do with ourselves now that the glow has worn off — perhaps a jaunt to Namibia? We hear that Namibia is lovely this time of year.

Or maybe we’ll create our own royal fantasy. We found the most perfect lacy white halter dress, reminiscent of Stella McCartney’s creation for the reception. This one hits just around the knees, so that we don’t have trouble getting into a sexy vintage Jaguar and riding off into the sunset with our own bad selves.

Luckily, Meghan and Harry will return, and they’ll bring with them a new energy to the royal family. We’re thrilled for the couple’s adventures and what they’ll do on the world’s stage. The fairytale ending is real after all.
