Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers: Ladies get things done
Isn’t it wonderful when profiles of actors just casually drop Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers like they don’t even mean anything?
Warning: Those who have kept up with their Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers may have already surmised that this would happen, but for those who haven’t, get ready for some confirmed spoilers.
There are days where Game of Thrones spoilers are tough to find. We here at Culturess do our best to bring you the latest as often as we can, combing for photos or sometimes-deleted social media posts to deduce who’s where and when they’re there. Today, however, might have been the easiest day for Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers. Seriously, there’s really no way to top this.
In a new profile appearing in Vanity Fair focusing on Emilia Clarke, the actress herself doesn’t let much spill aside from the casual mention that she’s filmed Daenerys’ final scene.
In the text, however, comes one little line that we didn’t know was actually happening. Take it away, VF: “[Clarke’s] also shooting for the first time with several of the show’s top stars, including Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams, who play the formidable Stark sisters.”
Granted, we’ve guessed that this could happen more than once, considering what’s known about Winterfell, Arya Stark as well as what’s speculated about Sansa Stark. However, this is pretty much as official as we’re going to get when it comes to Daenerys meeting Arya and Sansa.
The question then becomes this: who are the other “top stars” that Vanity Fair mentions? Both Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Lena Headey are probably out, thanks to “The Spoils of War” and the Dragonpit meeting respectively.
Isaac Hempstead Wright seems like a fairly reasonable guess, considering that his character, Bran Stark, now has several good reasons to want to speak to Daenerys. (Presumably, telling her that she’s currently romantically involved with her nephew is one of them.)
