Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers: A girl could meet some dragons

Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers have done it again, now placing a rather key member of the cast in a rather key location.

Warning: Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers have gotten a bit deep as of late, and this one is no exception.

Game of Thrones season 8 production has moved, at least in part, to Spain. This, we knew. But up until this past weekend, we didn’t quite know who would be there, filming in Seville. That’s changed, thanks to a find from r/freefolk.

Now, the freefolk didn’t make it quite as apparent how they concluded that Maisie Williams had made it to Seville. We here at Culturess had to dig a little deeper.

Apparently, it all has to do with the reflection in her sunglasses. Yes, the fans went that deep for this one.

Remind us never to commit a Game of Thrones-related crime. The fanbase would probably solve it in minutes. Anyway, we know that the home of the Dragonpit, the Itálica ruins, has already started work, and that’s expected to go on through most of this month.

What we didn’t know was who would be there. With the news that Arya herself could make a return after King’s Landing, you know what it’s time for: speculation. All things considered, Arya perhaps accompanying her beloved (not) brother in war makes a lot of sense. Not only does she have skills of her own, she could end up being the most effective spy the Targaryen-Stark alliance has. (Yes, more effective than Varys.)

However, Arya still has names on her list. Way back, yours truly broke down how season 7 played out for Arya and even guessed that she might go to King’s Landing to attempt to assassinate Cersei. This isn’t to say that that’s definitely what’s going to happen, but if Arya steps foot in the Dragonpit, there’s going to be a very good reason for it.

Death seems like a pretty good reason.

This does seem, however, to suggest that Arya may survive Winterfell.

That’s a relief, at least.
