Watch Ryan Reynolds surprise fans on a singing competition show dressed as a unicorn

Ryan Reynolds gave everyone quite the surprise when he appeared on a Korean singing competition on TV. No one knew it was him until he removed his disguise.

There’s nothing more fun than unicorns… and Deadpool. So combining the two — give or take a subbing in Ryan Reynolds for Deadpool — is bound to be epic.

Luckily, that combination came true on Korean television recently, where Reynolds appeared in disguise and blew everyone away. He made his appearance on the TV show King of Masked Singer, where contestants perform a song while wearing a mask. It’s almost like The Voice, where you don’t know who’s truly singing until after the reveal.

So, to disguise himself, Reynolds appeared in a uniquely cute unicorn costume and sang “Tomorrow” from Annie. In hindsight, you can tell it’s him by how distinct his voice is. But while masked, the audience was none the wiser.

Once Reynolds did remove the cute (or creepy) mask, the crowd went wild at the reveal. Reynolds then jokingly apologized to the crowd for the song but got a got a good laugh from the crowd that knew it was all in good fun.

Later in the clip, one judge joked that he thought Reynolds was Donald Trump. Of course, it isn’t the most uncanny resemblance, but maybe it was the voice that had the judge hopeful for a Broadway musical-singing president to appear on stage.

Speaking of the musical, this isn’t the first time Reynolds appeared singing the song and showing off his beautiful voice. Last month, he appeared alongside his best pal Hugh Jackman while they belted out the tune. But that time, Reynolds wasn’t dressed as a unicorn. Rather, he showed up in full Deadpool attire for that stunt.

This only further proves that when Ryan Reynolds retires as Deadpool (which could be soon), he definitely needs to hit Broadway and start singing musicals ASAP. Maybe he could start as soon as tomorrow — it’s only a day away, after all.

But if you want to catch Reynolds as Deadpool (where maybe he’ll singing “Tomorrow” in the movie), you can see Deadpool 2 in theaters May 18.
