Now that the goo has switched from Waverly to Wynonna, it’s time to find out what happens next. So here’s how to watch Wynonna Earp online or on TV.
If you missed last week’s episode of Wynonna Earp — what’s your excuse? — then you missed one of the best episodes of the series. It completely nailed the buildup and rising tension of the first season and previous three episodes in one hour of fire-breathing, new-hat-finding and sister-kissing goodness!
But seriously, if you just need a reminder of all the crazy stuff that went down in “She Ain’t Right,” I happily logged it down for you right over here.
Since things went so off the wire last week, that means we have plenty more to deal with this week in “Let’s Pretend We’re Strangers.” Instead of Gooverly, we now have “Goo-nonna” … or is it Wy-goo-na? … sorry, I forgot what we’re officially using, but it’s bad, nonetheless.
In fact, just check out the sneak peek of the episode below. And be careful, because it’s not for the faint of heart or anyone who likes mice.
Is Melanie Scrofano an amazing and wonderful actress? Yes. They all are. But damn, I really wish she didn’t play that scene so well. It’s like a Catch-22 because I’m squeamish, but I also don’t want to miss out on her Emmy-worthy facial expressions.
Now, let’s check out the synopsis for the new episode, as provided by TV Guide:
"The battle for Waverly’s soul continues and Wynonna will never be the same."
The demon (goo or whatever it is) made it really clear as to why it chose to move to Wynonna, and if you think about it, it’s incredibly sad. It outright said that Wynonna was weaker, which is an insecurity she’s been beating back her entire life. She’s struggled to rise above the situation in every single step she’s taken, and now, the goo’s just dragging her down. Most likely, it’s going to make her do a lot of things she doesn’t want to do, so she’s going to have that much more to deal with when she tries to sleep at night. It’s truly awful.
