American Gods season 1, episode 4 live stream: Watch Git Gone online

American Gods is back tonight and we’re all wondering what Shadow Moon is in for this week. Here’s how you can watch episode 4, “Git Gone,” live online.

Last week, at the end of episode 3 of American Gods, while driving back to the Motel America after robbing a bank, Wednesday and Shadow had a long conversation about the nature of belief. It really felt like this conversation was building up to something important. Wednesday keeps circling around things, and not telling Shadow what they’re actually going to do. But Wednesday was in a sharing, conversational mood, so it felt like we were on the cusp of learning what he’s up to.

Apparently not. The synopsis and trailer for Git Gone hint that this week’s episode will focus on Laura, and just how she came to be sitting on Shadow’s bed at the end of Head Full of Snow. This is a bit frustrating as far as moving the plot forward, but we definitely want to know more about Laura. Who is this woman to whom Shadow is so eternally devoted, even after the affair with his best friend? And what’s she doing back from the grave, in his motel room?

Looks like we’re joining Laura on a quest from redemption, I guess from, you know, how she died. Git Gone will also take a long look back at Shadow and Laura’s life together. Perhaps we’ll find out why she keeps calling him Puppy.
