9. Guardians of the Galaxy 2

Spring movies are an important time for nerdy fans. Starting back in 2009 (probably before then even but for the purpose of this moment, it is 2009), we had a nerdy blockbuster filling the May slot. First it was Star Trek, then it went to Marvel movie after Marvel movie. And this year, it is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

For those who haven’t seen the first film, what are you doing? Remember when chubby Chris Pratt got really buff and we all fell more in love with him? It was for this movie and the first one even gives us shirtless Pratt heavy breathing.

Still not convinced? Well there is a fowl-mouthed raccoon who is best friends with a somewhat talking tree. And also Zoe Saldana and Karen Gillan. Lest we forget Lee Pace as well. What I’m saying is that Guardians of the Galaxy is an amazing film and to prepare for this brilliant film, go watch it and enjoy the glory that is that movie.

Then get your popcorn bucket ready to go on another space adventure with some of our new favorite heroes. And word is, Chris Pratt is still pretty hot in it so it is a win-win situation for us all.
