The Hunger Games

If you want the flashiest cosplay for your holiday shindigs, look no further than The Hunger Games. While we all know people in the Capitol dress to extravagance, they also have undeniable style.

Get your squad to help with make-up and hair. Put on some eyelashes with a holiday theme, and maybe add some ornaments to your hair. And I mean literal ornaments. Better yet, if you’re thinking of cosplaying as Caesar, just spray paint your hair to match the season.

This would be a great group cosplay. Katniss has her squad help her glam up. So, why don’t you get yours together for a night on the town? You can be Katniss and Peeta on TV, or Effie Trinket at the Reaping. If you’re looking for something simple, try Cinna. All black clothes and a dash of gold eye shadow will do the trick.

But truly, if you want to turn heads with some gala worthy cosplay as costumes. Go as people from the Capitol. Anything goes at the Capitol. You need to have the brightest colors, the chicest cuts, the biggest hats and the finest furs. Makeup seems to be neutral with a splash eye-catching lipstick and some fake lashes to boot. And a wig to match is an absolute must.

For men, all of the above applies. The ruffles, the cuts, the colors and the hair. Everyone is dressed to impress at the Capitol. And this holiday season, so will you.
