Selina Meyer is a former Senator and Vice President of the United States. While she was the Vice President, her power is limited and completely disregarded. They have no problem humiliating her and making her unimportant. She fights back and makes sure she is not left out. She starts to amass some clout and influence. At one point she contemplates challenging the incumbent President in his reelection bid. Fortunately for Meyer, the Presidents decides to step down, and she becomes the President.

Meyer has surrounded herself with a fantastic and loyal staff who makes sure she doesn’t fall flat on her face. She also uses her staff against each other just to get the best work out of them. Selina is known for her blunt honesty. She is not married and does have a daughter from a previous marriage who keeps her distance.
