The Ice Clown who was once a teenage mayor of Partridge, Minnesota, Ben moves to Pawnee as Assistant City Manager and dates Leslie.

Their love story is rocky and took a while for it to work but that was all for amazing reasons. It ended up giving us things like the Smallest Park and Ben’s amazing proposal to Leslie. The thing about Ben is that he wants Leslie to succeed and her success make him happy.

He will willingly give up anything to make sure she does what she is destined to do. Meaning he will lose multiple jobs in order to help Leslie. And even in Parks and Recreation’s joking way, they show how much Ben loves Leslie by all the things he does for her.

He gives up everything in his life to be with her and that is so special. He could’ve been Governor of Indiana but he knew that Leslie had dreamt of it since she was a little girl and gave it up for her. He’s perfect!
