Celebrate 65 years with Barbie: Her Inspiration, History, and Legacy

When it comes to iconic toys, no one holds a candle to Barbie and honestly, nothing will. That's why I am so delighted to feature a new release called Barbie: Her Inspiration, History and Legacy.

This book was released on April 16th so we're a few days late but better late than never. In the case of the Barbie movie, we know that to be true. Coupled with the fact we're celebrating 65 years of Barbie, this is a huge milestone.

While the Barbie movie did put her back in the spotlight, Barbie was always a popular and beloved brand. Learning the history of how Barbie came to be and how she has managed to stay so relevant will only make you appreciate things more.

As someone who grew up playing with Barbies, I've always appreciated that Barbie could be whoever I wanted her to be. Now that I have a niece who is a bit too young for Barbies, I hope that she'll soon learn the same message and grow to appreciate the brand as well.
