Auli'i Cravalho has grown to fame from Disney's Moana, but Moana 2 is not the only exciting project she has in 2024. In addition to her career, she takes pride in her love for marine environmentalism and her cat, Rocco.

In merging some of her greatest loves, Auli'i Cravalho partnered with SHEBA premium cat food in recognition of Coral Reef Awareness Week. In 2024, Coral Reef Awareness Week takes place from July 15th through July 21st, and this collaboration will see Auli'i Cravalho and SHEBA releasing "Growing Hope in Hawai'i," an online video series that is available to watch on SHEBA.com/Sustainability, Auli'i Cravalho's Instagram channel, and the SHEBA brand's social media channels. The first episode is live and available to view.

According to the official press release Auli'i Cravalho stated,

""I've always had a strong love and respect for the ocean, growing up in Hawai'i. It's what truly connects us across the world, and I was raised to understand that we are the stewards of our natural world and need to protect it. After working with the SHEBA brand and Kuleana Coral Reefs last year, I was moved to pursue getting my scuba certification, so that I can spend more time enjoying the beauty of the ocean and continue to learn more about how we can help preserve our reefs. I am certain that this second year of our partnership will continue to inspire people that there is hope. The SHEBA brand has implemented scalable solutions for coral reef restoration and is driving momentum toward a plentiful, sustainable fish population for years to come, especially in my Hawaiiain home.""

The video series will be released in three parts and will also feature Kuleana Coral Reefs, a nonprofit organization that works to help keep Hawai'is coral reefs safe from harm. Kuleana Coral Reefs was founded in 2019 in dedication to help save the coral reefs around O'ahu, Hawai'i.

SHEBA premium cat food also makes a stand with the SHEBA Hope Grows program, which shows SHEBA's dedication to restoring coral reefs. The SHEBA Hope Grows campaign was founded in 2021 to offer hope for the coral reefs around the globe.

The Sheba Hope Grows program has 63 restoration sites in 11 countries, and Hawai'i is a part of the brand's roster. SHEBA helped participate by donating $1 million to Kuleana in support of restoring the damaged coral reefs throughout Hawai'i.

Coral Reefs are a significant part of Earth's environment and help to give cats the best available food they can eat. The protection of Coral Reefs is an integral part of helping the world, and our pet cats, prosper. The work that Auli'i Cravalho and SHEBA are doing strives to bring awareness to Coral Reefs, which have been dying from the impact of climate change over the decades.

Climate change has impacted the world in various ways so far, from endangered species to weather conditions and growing health risks. Climate change is very real, and as it continues to change the world, citizens are capable of fighting back.

To help save the damaged Coral Reefs, you can donate on the Kuleana Coral Restoration website or you can become involved in helping through the SHEBA Hope Grows campaign. On an everyday basis, actions such as recycling and saving energy can play a role in saving coral reefs. Everyone can help in the smallest ways in the devotion to see a better world of flourishing coral reefs.

So, join Auli'i Cravalho, SHEBA, and Kuleana Coral Reefs in their strive to make the world aware of the deteriorating coral reefsand the work they are doing to restore these key elements to our world.
