Each Taylor Swift era feels like it’s more and more exciting. That’s why I was so hyped to finally talk about her Speak Now era.

I know that a lot of people didn’t love Taylor Swift’s country roots. However, I do think her first two albums paint a picture for us as listeners. She was a teenager, dealing with things a lot of teenagers deal with and writing about it.

The album felt like such a subtle shift. It was us watching as she went from being a teenager into an adult and the songs on this album reflected that. Regardless of how you feel, you can’t deny that Speak Now had some amazing songs on it and some even better singles.

As for singles, Speak Now ended up with a total of six singles. I must say that I’ve enjoyed making these rankings but this one has been my toughest yet. With that being said, let’s break down the singles and then start the ranking.

As I said, Speak Now had 6 singles which were “Mine,” “Back To December,” “Mean,” “The Story Of Us,” “Sparks Fly” and “Ours.” All of these songs were ones I knew I played on repeat so this was a tough choice. I feel like I’m just repeating myself over and over again, but Speak Now was such a great era for Taylor Swift and her fans.

I mean I think I speak for most TS fans when I say that we’re clamoring for her to release Speak Now (Taylor’s Version.) Until then, we have to pull out our CD players or put this one on in our cars to enjoy all of these delightful singles.
