In honor of the Eras Tour, we’re ranking Taylor Swift’s singles from her debut!

The music world changed when Taylor Swift entered the chat. Despite being a teenager when she became famous, Taylor Swift immediately became the face of country music.

While we know her as more of a pop icon, Swift was unlike anything country music fans had seen before. Yes, there were incredible female country artists such as Dolly Parton, Faith Hill, and Reba McIntire. However, no one was giving that fresh teen perspective that most of us were craving when her album first came out.

Since the release of the album, Taylor Swift has changed her image a lot but it’s clear the album still holds a special place in a lot of fans’ hearts. I mean she wouldn’t be doing an Eras tour for anything, right?

Speaking of the Eras tour, I thought it’d be fun to go back through and re-listen to Taylor Swift’s debut album and rank the singles from the album.

Before getting into the rankings, I just wanted to share a bit of info about the album as a whole. Taylor Swift was released on October 24th, 2006 by Big Machine Records and gave us some of the most unforgettable songs of that decade.

The album featured a tracklist of 11 songs including 5 singles. There were also multiple different variations of the album including a Deluxe Edition and even, a special Best Buy digital track which was “I Heart ?” For a debut, I must say that I really loved this album as I own the CD and remember listening to it repeatedly upon its release.

Fans don’t seem to love this album as much as others and usually, it ends up pretty low in their rankings. As this was my first Taylor album, it holds a special place in my heart and is still one of my favorite eras of hers so let’s rank the 5 singles from her debut era.
