After years of waiting, Taylor Swift is finally going back on tour. It’s been years for both Taylor and her fans.

This latest tour has a twist, though. Entitled the “Eras Tour,” no doubt the show will focus on all of Taylor’s different eras. For fans, this is incredibly exciting and something I’m sure none of us predicted.

The tour won’t kick off until 2023 with the first show happening on March 18, 2023. As a stadium tour, it’s clear Taylor isn’t messing around and knows that her fans will come in droves to see her, and rightfully so.

With a plethora of rotating opening acts such as HAIM, Paramore, Phoebe Bridgers, and Gayle to name a few, it’s clear Taylor isn’t playing around in her return to the touring world. However, what kind of setlist could we end up getting for the tour?

What songs will Taylor Swift perform during her Eras 2023 tour?

For a lot of us Taylor Swift fans, we started off with her first album which is aptly titled, Taylor Swift. However, Taylor is likely poised to only feature the albums she actually owns, and that narrows things down a bit. Even so, there are still plenty of songs to choose from within the eras she technically owns although she should own them all.

Even though Fearless isn’t technically the “first” era Taylor owns, it was originally released in 2008 so I’m starting with that one. As for the songs I feel like she’ll perform from Fearless (Taylor’s Version,) you really can’t go wrong with “Fearless,” “Love Story” or “You Belong With Me.” However, I’d love to see her perform some vault tracks including “Mr. Perfectly Fine” and “You All Over Me.”

Another Taylor’s version era is, of course, Red. As we’re all hoping and praying for, we want Taylor to perform the 10-minute version of “All Too Well.” There are also some other classics within the vault such as “I Bet You Think About Me” and “Nothing New.” Looking at the “original” Red tracks, the two that stand out to me are “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and “22.” Both are such fun party songs that no doubt will get all of us pumped up.

Moving away from the re-recordings, let’s move on to the original albums Taylor has produced and owns herself. First is 2019’s Lover which is frankly still so underrated in my eyes. The song that jumps out to me is “Cruel Summer” which I know is a fan favorite and is perfect for scream-singing. Honestly, almost all of the songs have that quality including “The Man” “Lover,” “You Need to Calm Down” and “Me!” Miss Swift can’t go wrong with any songs featured on this album.

Moving onto the two sister albums of Folklore and Evermore, these albums are more understated but nonetheless are going to be great for singing along. On Folklore, we have “August,” “Cardigan” and “Mad Woman” while Evermore features “Willow,” “No Body, No Crime” and “Dorothea.”

Last but certainly not least, we couldn’t forget about Taylor’s newest release, Midnights. No doubt she’ll be performing a lot of songs from this era. Personally, I’d be most excited to see her perform “Anti-Hero” because that song is just iconic. This new tour is bound to be an exciting chapter for both Taylor Swift and her fans alike.

The public on-sale for the tickets is poised to be November 18th, 2022. However, there will be multiple presales including for Capital One card holders and Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan presale.
