Hulu offers a back-to-school deal to college students

It’s back-to-school season and the deals keep coming. Hulu is offering college students access to the platform for only $1.99 a month. The price is a knockdown from the $6.99 fee for streaming with limited ads. This is a markdown of more than 70%! Without ads, the price is raised to $12.99 a month.

The deal is available for students that are currently enrolled in graduate or advanced degree programs at Title IV accredited colleges or universities in the U.S.  Popular shows on the platform include The Handmaid’s Tale, Only Murders in the Building, The Bear, Solar Opposites, and Not Okay.  If you have different streaming preferences, however, there are more options for you. Existing titles also include Spider-Man: No Way Home, Elvis, The Batman, Spencer, Prey, and The Worst Person in the World.

With Disney+ Day also having just passed, Disney has bought the cost of Disney+ down to only $1.99 for the first month. The monthly price goes back to $7.99 after the first month. New users have the opportunity to secure the deal through Sept. 19. The bundle, which includes Hulu and ESPN+, is currently priced at $13.99. A Disney+ subscription will now also give you six months of a free Uber One membership. The membership provides discounts on Uber rides and deliveries. Subscribers will also enjoy Disney Movie Insider bonus points that can be traded in for discounts on items. With it also comes discounted access to shopDisney merchandise and a National Geographic digital subscription. Additional benefits also include tickets for the Disney Cruise line; third and fourth guests of Disney+ subscribers sail free with two full-fare guests in the same stateroom. While the special is not limited to college students, it will end soon.
