The weekend is your time to kick back and have fun. Thus, it would only make sense to watch something on Hulu.

Unlike the other streaming services out there, Hulu doesn’t get nearly as much credit. For goodness sakes, they have Bob’s Burgers. What more could you want?

All jokes aside, Hulu seems to get lost in the shuffle when it comes to other streaming services including Disney+, Netflix, and HBO Max. Regardless, Hulu does often feature a lot of fun and exciting content especially to kick off July.

If you’re in the mood for something new, then these releases from June 24 until July 1st could be perfect.

These Hulu releases to kick off July are perfect for your weekend watching.

Honestly, Hulu has some gems for your weekend watches. Of course, a lot of us have been waiting for the next season of Only Murders in the Building, but that’s not all as there are a handful of other original releases so let’s get into them.

Since there are so many releases, we’re talking about the highlights rather than listing out all of the TV shows and movies coming to Hulu to kick off July. With that being said, let’s start with the TV shows.

The major release we’ve all been waiting for is Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building but that’s not the only one. Hulu also added the final season of Madagascar: A Little Wild if you’re looking for something a bit more family-friendly. If you’re not, then Season 1 of Feud was added along with the complete seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Survivor, and The Challenge to name a few.

As you can see,  the streaming service is keeping it light with shows to start in July, but the movies are really where the streaming service is thriving. For originals, the only addition was The Princess but it seems like it’s going to be a unique take on the traditional trope. As for some 2022 releases, there is Big Gold Brick, Gasoline Alley, and The Desperate Hour F.K.A Lakewood.

If you’re in the mood for some nostalgic films, Hulu also added Maid in Manhattan, Independence Day, Flawless, and Jumanji. If you’re in the mood for some franchises, the first three films in the Step Up series were added along with The Expendables 1, 2, and 3. No matter what you’re in the mood for, you should be able to find something for your first weekend in July.
