9 YouTube creators to follow just in time for the holidays

Although Shannan has only been creating videos for her After Show Reactions channel, she’s already accumulated over 25,000 subscribers! Her love for the MCU and Buffyverse is very clear when clicking onto her channel, but she covers much more than just those. Superheroes are her main thing, but she’s recently expanded her scope of content to include other genres as well.
“I love pretty much all of the shows I react to and to name a few I really enjoy would be picking a favorite child and that I simply cannot do…unless Agents of SHIELD is my child, then that’s my favorite. No, but seriously, Agents of SHIELD, Buffyverse, Dollhouse, Arrowverse, and Supernatural have all been huge tasks and I’ve enjoyed them a lot!,” she explains.
Shannan was also inspired by her fellow reactors, especially when it came to seeing other people react to shows that she grew up with herself for the first time. She’s also done multiple collaborations with other YouTube content creators, as a way of returning the favor of inspiring her.
"“I started reacting because I saw others do it and I got to experience their first times watching some of the shows I grew up on and it made it feel like I was watching for the first time again through them and I wanted to do that for others. I also wanted to document the experience. It’s also like watching with a friend, a lot of the time sadly your friends don’t share the same taste in a particular show you love and watching someone’s reactions can feel like you’re hanging out, watching your favorite show with them.”"
Unfortunately, the pandemic has derailed most of Shannan’s reacting plans for the near future. “We’ve been in lockdown so long I’m not even sure what’s coming out this year anymore haha,” she explains.
Despite her young age, Shannan seamlessly adapts to the worlds of television shows that were created long before she was even born. She reacted to Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD from start to finish, creating some of the best content on her channel along the way. In the tumultuous season five finale, she gets particularly emotional at the very thought of losing some of the characters she had grown to know and love over the years.
