Production has started on season 3 of Nancy Drew and we are here for the behind-the-scenes look
Season 3 of Nancy Drew has officially begun production and with this news came some fun behind-the-scenes photos from our cast! And we are here for it.
Over on social media, the fun has begun. Not only did Kennedy McMann and Maddison Jaizani share some fun pictures of the Drew Crew back together again, but we have seen some fun tweets from the series writers’ room and more.
While the third season is set to premiere on October 8, which means we still have a few months to go, we are loving the fact that the cast and crew are sharing their excitement for being back on set. In fact, Nancy Drew herself (McMann) had one of the best posts when she shared a selfie with the caption, “first day of school!!!!! #nancydrew.”
The Nancy Drew cast and crew is back on set for season 3
Of course, our favorite post featured the entire Drew Crew together, which was shared on Kennedy McMann’s social media, and then shared by other Nancy Drew accounts (such as their Writer’s Room Twitter).
The friends are back together and they look happy. And since we already know that things are going to be rough heading into season 3, it is always nice to see everyone smiling and together.
Of course, the fact that they are all smiles is because they are back together again and getting to work, and less about the storyline we are expecting to see covered in the third season.
If you aren’t caught up on all the adventures and misadventures of the Drew Crew, there is still plenty of time. And if you are caught up and ready to go, there is plenty of time for a rewatch too.
As Screen Rant pointed out, “After overcoming both the Aglaeca and the Gorham Wraith in the sophomore outing, Nancy Drew season 3 will pit the Drew Crew against the ageless witchy threat of Nancy’s ancestor, Temperance Hudson.” And that doesn’t even take into account the continued fallout from Nancy Drew bringing George back from the dead, breaking into the archives and letting any number of unknown spirits and entities loose on the town, and of course the whole destruction of the Hudson family.
We have a lot to look forward to in Season 3 of Nancy Drew, but for now, we are all about seeing the real joy that the cast has for being back together and filming.
