Could Jordan Fisher be one of the final three celebrities on The Masked Singer’s fourth season?

There’s reason to believe a triple threat may be competing to win the golden mask.

FOX’s fourth season of The Masked Singer is down to its final three contestants. Of the three, one of the biggest mysteries all season has been who is behind Mushroom. It’s possible Dancing With the Stars season 25 mirror ball winner Jordan Fisher is now on the hunt to win another reality competition show.

First Impression

Judge Nicole Scherzinger picked up on Hamilton vibes with phrases like “the room where it happens” and “young, scrappy, and funky” featured in Mushroom’s audition round clue package. When this author thinks Hamilton, Fisher immediately comes to mind. By the sound of Mushroom’s voice during his debut performance to Kate Bush’s “This Woman’s Work,” it sure sounds like Fisher.

Plus, the last image in the first clue package shows a big gold star behind Mushroom. Could that be a reference to Dancing With the Stars?

School Clues

Fisher was involved in the entertainment industry as teen and throughout his high school years, he was homeschooled. However, if you look at his theater work, he has played high school students as a young talent in the industry, and that’s where the clues correlate.

On Broadway, Fisher has embodied the title character in Dear Evan Hansen, a character who writes notes to himself and feels like an outcast because of how different he is from his peers. This sounds very similar to sentiments in Mushroom’s second round of clues, where Mushroom explains he was different from his peers and is shown reading notes of himself in a notebook titled “burn book.” Burn book? That’s a reference to Mean Girls, a musical stage adaptation Fisher is set to star in.

Overall, there is some evidence that point to the possibility that Fisher could be Mushroom. Viewers will know for sure when the season four finale airs Dec. 16.
