Snow Owls Revealed as Clint Black & Lisa Hartman

When it came to the Snow Owls, there was speculation that this duo was either a married couple or a brother-and-sister combination. None of the judges guessed correctly on their “first-impression guess,” but judge Nicole Scherzinger was the lone judge who cracked the case before the Snow Owls were unmasked during the Group A Finals. The Snow Owls were revealed as country music’s Clint Black and Lisa Hartman. Scherzinger would call the married country icons “the heart of this show.”

From the get-go, the Academy of Country Music Awards-winning songstress fell in love with the Snow Owls costume, saying, “When I first saw the costumes I actually cried because they’re so beautiful and they’re so sweet. I couldn’t wait to get into them.”

Black explained the egg that held the two performers together was a challenge when moving side to side during their performance, but nothing the married couple of 29 years couldn’t handle. They even made history as the series’ first-ever duet masked singers.

“I loved every minute,” Hartman said. “Everybody’s wonderful and they make you feel at home and we’re like a family, and we’re going to miss everybody. I’m gonna cry.”
