2. Hubie Halloween

Short Sell: Looking for a ridiculous Halloween movie that screams fun? Hubie Halloween is the answer. I think the biggest appeal of this movie is the fact that the cast includes Julie Bowen, Kevin James, and Kenan Thompson to name a few.

Of course, we can’t forget that this is an Adam Sandler movie, which means we are absolutely getting a ridiculous, over the top comedy with a Halloween twist.

Netflix describes:

"Hubie’s not the most popular guy in Salem, Mass., but when Halloween turns truly spooky, this good-hearted scaredy-cat sets out to keep his town safe."

1. Liar, Liar Vampire

Short Sell: While this one might seem like an odd choice in terms of Halloween movies, it still works. I think the reason Liar, Liar Vampire works is the whole supernatural persona that Davis takes on in an effort to fit in at his new school.

There is something sweet and funny about this movie. And while it may not scream Halloween spookiness, it definitely gives us a bit of a supernatural element that feels right at home at this time of the year.

Netflix describes:

"When a shy teen transfers to a new school, he elects to mix things up by playing along with the rumor that he’s a vampire."
