The first two seasons of the critically acclaimed Harley Quinn animated series from DC Universe will arrive on HBO Max this August.

The first two seasons of the critically acclaimed DC Universe animated series Harley Quinn will be available to stream via HBO Max starting August 1.

This is fantastic news for everyone hoping for a season 3 of Harley Quinn, as more eyeballs on the series can only be a positive thing at this point. It’s probably not good news, however,  for those who love the niche service DC Universe, which seems to be shuttling its various properties off to other homes with increasing rapidity of late.

Harley Quinn will join its sister DC Universe series Doom Patrol on the consolidated WarnerMedia streaming site, a move that is naturally prompting questions about the future of the DC platform. At the moment, Titans is the last remaining true DC Universe exclusive that can’t be found elsewhere. Another DC Universe original, Stargirl, was already airing its first season simultaneously on The CW, and its recently announced second outing will become exclusive to the broadcast network when it debuts next year.

No plans for a third season of the animated series have been announced yet, but should it snag a renewal, HBO Max now seems like a natural home for the show. (At the very least, one has to assume that it’ll at least land a co-streaming deal like Doom Patrol has.)

Harley Quinn follows the colorful animated adventures of everyone’s favorite bat-wielding DC anti-heroine. The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco voices Harley, joined by an all-star supporting cast that includes Lake Bell, Ron Funches, Tony Hale, Jason Alexander, J. B. Smoove, Alan Tudyk, and Giancarlo Esposito.

The series is both deeply weird and wildly hilarious, with great animation and true devotion to depicting the colorful chaos that surrounds both Harley herself and the rest of the members of Batman’s rogues gallery that make appearances throughout its two seasons.

Shorter version: If you’ve not managed to try this for yourself yet – and you’ve got access to HBo Max – now’s your chance!
