June is here, and so are new romance novels to melt into this month as the summer rolls in for the hottest and steamiest season of all.

Happy June, fellow romance enthusiasts! For the past few months we’ve marched, escaped, and bloomed into our reading selections. Now it’s time to melt. The sun is high, the heat is scorching, and we’re already going to be puddles thanks to the humidity, so we might as well be puddles bubbling from the warmth of some good love stories.

Nothing says the start of summer like romance. Whether it’s prom queen candidates, gaming enemies, fake relationships, non-relationship relationships, ruinous second chances, or media sensations, there’s something for everybody this month. Including Jasmine Guillory’s latest release and Sarah MacLean’s final book in the Bareknuckle Bastards series.

Kicking our June romance book list off is Leah Johnson’s debut, You Should See Me in a Crown, a YA romance set between two outsiders looking for a way in to score a scholarship and get out of their podunk, prom-obsessed, town. Let’s dive into that, along with everything else hitting shelves in the coming weeks.
