Westworld season 3 episode 3 live stream: Watch online

Season 3 of Westworld continues on HBO  this Sunday with “The Absence of Field”. Heres how to watch online and not miss a minute of the new episode.

After an episode of Westworld that was largely set in the parks once again (er…sort of), it seems as though the show will head back to the real world for the third installment of season 3.

Entitled “The Absence of Field,” the hour will see Maeve, Bernard and Stubbs arrive in “our” world, as Dolores draws her rescuer Caleb further into her…plan to take free humanity? Okay, fine, we don’t entirely know what Dolores is up to yet – she certainly seems overly interested in the Rehoboam super AI that seems to be powering much of society.

But if the trailer is anything to go by, it also seems as though this episode is set to focus on Charlotte Hale. Or, perhaps, more correctly, whoever is currently inside Charlotte’s body. (Remember, Dolores brought several host consciousnesses with her when she escaped Westworld, and we still don’t their identities.) So…who is Charlotte? Is it Teddy, resurrected from the Valley Beyond? Clementine, rebooted? Dolores’ father, Peter Abernathy, who theoretically has a wealth of information stored in his head?

The official synopsis does offer many answers but does hint at an episode concerned with identity, something confirmed in the trailer below.

"Some do not like what they see in the mirror but shouldn’t blame the mirror."

The idea that whoever is wearing Charlotte’s face is struggling to hang on to themselves while pretending to be someone else is intriguing, as is the idea that some vestige of Charlotte may still exist on the fringes of the life she left behind. (Turns out she had a son, who knew?)
